angel lin is a los angeles area percussionist, instrument maker, and sound sculpture artist who synthesizes their experiences with jazz, classical, improvised music, and indonesian gamelan to create unique sonic landscapes. utilizing hand made instruments and sculptural pieces crafted from tree branches, driftwood, and other natural/recycled materials amongst a host of gongs and drums, their work also integrates elements of chinese spirituality and ritual magic as part of the performance and creative process.
