angel lin is an undisciplinary percussionist, drummer, improvisor, instrument maker, and sound sculpture artist based in los angeles, california. by utilizing instruments and sculptural pieces hand-crafted from tree branches, driftwood, and other natural/recycled materials amongst a host of gongs and drums, they create unique sonic landscapes which integrate elements of spirituality and ritual magic as part of the creative process. their orientation towards art and musical performance embraces imperfection, lack of control, synchronicity, acceptance, and community.
